Secret Sister 2106

Sign ups:  January and February meetings

Partner Assignments:  Given at the end of February 20th meeting, if you will not be present at the meeting but have signed u for Secret Sister 2016, your partner will be sent to you via email.

Details:  Secret Sister will start swapping will begin in March with a reveal at the October meeting.  Bringing a thoughtful gift for your secret sister at least every other month is suggested (more often is ok!), handmade as well as purchased items are acceptable.  

Secret Pal 2015
     Sign-ups: January and February meetings
     Partner Assignments:  Given at the March 28 meeting, if you weren't present your partner information should have been emailed to you.  A google survey will be sent soon so that you can provide your secret partner with information about you.
     Secret Pal Details:  Secret Pal will start in March and will end with the reveal at the October meeting.  Bringing a thoughtful gift for your partner at least every other month is suggested.  There is a place for Secret Pal gifts on the front table where the sign-in sheet is located.


Beach Bee Swap 2015
     Sign-ups:  January and February meetings
     Group Assignments:  handed out at March 28 meeting, emailed to everyone in each group
     Details:
-You will make one block for each member in your group - these should all be the same block.
-Your block will use the focal fabric Spent Morning (Field Day by Alison Glass) in charcoal or grey (it is the same fabric, but sometimes has a different background color name). You can add any other prints or solids to your block.
-Blocks should be 12 1/2" unfinished. Please be accurate with your blocks, they are going into someone else's quilt.
-We will have yardage of Spent Morning available for purchase at the March meeting,  I suggest at least 1 yd - and you can purchase more if you like.
-Each group can decide if they would like to sign their blocks or use siggy blocks.
     Due Dates:  Blocks are due at the May meeting.  The finished quilt reveal will take place at the August meeting.
     If you need additional yardage please see Alison Glass shop (link below), she has yardage available.  

Spent in Grey

Monthly Member Bee Block
During your month, bring in your choice of fabrics and block directions to hand out to each participating member. These can be given out in small baggies with directions and your name for easy return.
 You can give directions such as; these are the colors I want, please make this block.
You can have members add fabrics or only use the ones you have selected.
You can have members make a block or their choice or the block you have selected.
Completed blocks will be returned to you the following month. Please bring in any completed projects from your blocks for show and tell.
(If you would like to be added to this group for October 2015, or any month in 2016 please leave a comment and I will add you to the list.  No swapping for Nov 2015, as we will not meet again until January 2016)
